You're right, but TV ads are a marketing step that'll get worked in when the cost fits the budget and is justified by the anticipated ROI.
Remember, it's hardly the first rodeo for the people making the decisions now. They'll get there, but TV ads are expensive as hell.
They have to be run hundreds of times to get to a nice ROI, depending on the products. If the response rate is good, they would normally extend the campaign.
It's an excellent way to increase brand awareness/sales, so you know they will at some point. They'll know when it's time. I'm sure Harrington would love to do it NOW! lol
