HQ (Intermedia Labs) created the app HQ Trivia last year. As of March, they were valued at $100M despite having zero revenue and using their cash reserve for prize money. With the $15M they want to fix the servers that keep crashing. They have about a dozen employees. They have one app, it does not currently generate revenue. They do a couple of quizzes a day.
But yet the company is valued at $100M in Q1 and probably a lot more today.
So the armchair quarterback BWs that say nFusz better do this and better do that on the next conference call, which they don't even do BTW, are all full of it. They are clueless on how to value tech companies. Totally clueless. Notice they never offer any explanation, links or comps with their keen Nostradamus predictions. They can't since they only get their DD from a message board and plastic sheets from Walmart.
