I enjoyed the discussion today, we all have our beliefs, they may differ, but we can get along. Personally I like to portrait George Burn's painted of G-D when he starred in Oh G-D. It was a G-D that put things in place, but let what was in place decide to go the direction it choose. His example of the avocado was great as he said, it wasn't perfect, he made the pit too large.

I suspect that as we learn more about the universe we'll discover that it wasn't a single big bang, but rather that their have been many such events spread out through the universe.

It seems to me that many religions pay a great deal of attention to wine, as a Jew, I suspect that wine is probably mentioned more in the services than practically anything else I can think of. I'm unaware if you can find cannabis anywhere in the bible. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but we certainly don't pray or thank G-D for creating cannabis, but we do thank G-D for providing the fruit of the vine.
