Good news. Globe is still pressing forward with Fake News Gate. They couldn’t comment except to say their 3rd party vendor is investigating.
But only 2 scenarios are in play. The first is that it wasn’t an account set up by SFRX and so the bogus user acted on his/her own.
The second scenario is that SFRX did have an existing account (but only one press release is listed) and they failed to protect their account as REQUIRED by their security agreement with GN.
Quite the legacy here for this company. Victim of bloggers, victim of employees at the Bureau telling them they only needed 3 items, and now a victim of hackers.
