We were just up there, and I might suggest that people consider some of the times where they have special events. Hot August Nights is normally the first full week in August and thousands of hot rods and classical cars descend on Reno along with free concerts at many hotels, etc. The Reno Balloon Races I believe is the weekend after Labor Day, and the Air Races about a week later. Just a few of the things around Reno which I believe are done annually.
We'll be there for Hot August Nights this year and generally like to get into Reno at least a few nights during that time. I also highly recommend coming up to Tahoe any time you're there, it's only about a 40 minute ride.
I don't remember what the target price was for a Reno gathering, but I thing we should look for new all time highs, and hopefully we'll be in Reno by next year or sooner.
