trying to get a better idea of the location,reading about oil wells on Golan,which mostly were shallow compared to Zions 16600 foot well.and initially realizing the largest town in the area of Zions well-Bet Shean-
which I believe is N of Zions well,is itself below sea level,and so Zions well likely is even lower in elevation. Its hard to find good topos without selling your unborn grandchildren, so I'm using the visitor angle to find info.
