They are literally doing their "jobs". They are paid by market makers and "whales" to bash the hell out of any company that they believe to have strong upside potential, but which are in a vulnerable status due to lack of verified revenue/profit growth.
They want to plant seeds of doubt in an effort to get long term investors to let go of their shares before the company releases blockbuster news or amazing financials. Their goal is to scoop up as many shares as possible. It's hard with a company like this because so much of the float is locked up in the hands of steadfast investors.
In some cases, smear campaigns are actually initiated by competitors who use similar tactics, paying losers to post pure BS over and over 24/7 in an effort to hurt a competitor by forcing their stock into the toilet, hoping it'll slow them down.
Anyhow, the future looks bright for federally legal adult recreational use, explaining why they've shifted their focus there. Once they get current and show investors just how profitable this venture will be, the bashers will be forced to move on to other prospects. Especially since it shouldn't take them all that long to uplist as earnings per share head for the sky.
