Long Post for Investors:
Denise asked us if we would like to join the team for dinner. I turned around to see if they were talking to someone else.
She said hang out, I am making arrangements now and we'll let you all know. Now I am thinking, I started to take a nappy when Maui texted me as I got up super earlier and here I am about to go out to dinner with not just Rory, but the entire team. This can't be happening. I was a few minutes way from turning my phone on mute to catch an hour of Zzzz and now this?
Denise got back to us with the where and when. We all showed up and there were a couple of separate tables. Maybe they could have fit all of us, but it may have been SH on one and Employees on the other. Someone (probably Denise) got big table in a more secluded spot so we call could talk without the Vegas noise.
I sat next to Dennis, across of Maui and to my right was Natural Treasure. It was a lively conversation. It was a lively conversation.
I learned all about the dating app industry as Dennis has a background in that amoung a lot of other things. Rory came over at the beginning of the meal to do a toast. He came over to the side where the majority of the shareholders were.
I don't remember the toast but you could write it.
Together my friends. Together...
I relate to this. This is how I've managed teams of 100+. I am the stupidest guy in the room. Together we accomplish everything. Individually, nothing.
At some point people moved around and I had a chance to talk to Jeff the CIO for awhile. Oddly enough, he grew up a few miles from where I live now. We talked about the Cubs, season tickets and Chicago.
Rory was across from me at this point and I started to talk to him.
Super long post. People are probably bored. I'll stop unless anyone else is interested.
