1. 10/2017: PTAB gives SFOR a rare, 100% complete patent review victory. It is the second time that SFOR patents have been reviewed by the PTAB. The Patent Trial and Appeal Board not only validates all 25 inventive claims but also allows an additional 7 inventive claims to be added to SFOR patents
2. 11/2017: SecureAuth gains a victory over 3 SFOR's patents and over 40 claims based on a 2014 Supreme Court ruling that a court may dismiss a patent Infringement case without even reviewing it if the patents are deemed non-inventive. The District court provides no precedent cases or one other reason other than Alice 35/101
3. 4/2018: Supreme Court decides that the PTAB has the Constitutional right to determine patent validity
4. 2018: FULL Federal Circuit court determines that the District court can no longer dismiss cases on the grounds of Alice 35/101 early dismissal. The court must perform a review of the facts. At the same time, other Alice 35/101 cases have been reversed at the Federal Circuit Appellate level
5. Today it is revealed that SecureAuth is willing to engage in settlement discussions
Peeps should do their own DD! Even in other ways listed on this post SFOR is poised for a potential truly historic PPS run.
