The low volume could be a sign people are hanging onto their shares despite the chicken little posts over on BW. I didn't look what the market cap is but if it's around $100M, it's already way to low for a company with real products and so much potential.
There are stories every day of tech companies getting gobbled up by the top ten. Can you imagine what the silly BWs would say if the one below was public.
There is nothing propriety. It's all open source. It's written in PHP for crying out loud, eCommerce companies are a dime a dozen, etc.
