I only know what Squires said in the quote about China.
While there may be no news on QMA or GTG, it seems that Squires is not wasting time waiting on them, but is going ahead with direct contact to companies -
"In the meantime QMC has some significant opportunities with prospective customers that perceive this delay as a window of opportunity."
Squires does not say where the prospective customers are located, inside or outside of China. It could mean that western world customers would buy from QMC to get to market faster than China, or to provide to China.
Or it could mean that QMC could sell direct to China companies in the meantime without violating their agreement, or sell to QMA to sell to companies until QMA has its own production at some time in the future. I don't know. Many things are possible.
