As long as he isn't selling his shares, it's the best reason to own. I don't know many people who would work their butt off and at the same time lose money.

If this was a failing endeavor or had little chance of success, he would be either selling the shell, liquidating his shares for whatever he can get or walking away. He definitely wouldn't literally be flying all over the world for peanuts.
