This is highly suspect.
Given the company's near silence on the suspension, any private response they give to a shareholder is extremely risky unless it gives the general platitudes "we are working closely with the SEC blah blah blah". That blurb on the web site was a bald face lie, because 2 weeks later the SEC publicly stated that the company did not respond to the May 10 suspension.
Anything they tell you in an email should be looked at with extreme suspicion and skepticism.
