It's possible that this is just one of the traders' gangs finishing their short-covering and moving the price up.
As awful lot of scottsmith's other identities have been thumbs-upping my posts in the past couple of days, which indicates an effort to rehabilitate them into ones that they think we are stupid enough to accept as people, not scottsmith. So the gang he participates in, in whatever capacity, may be behind this.
Or, someone may have learned something. We know that some hedge funds employ private investigators to do things like scour FaceBook for posts from people in clinical trials. There are even stories of investigators hanging around outside clinics where clinical trials are held, getting license plate numbers so they can get their identities, and then stalking them online to see if they're in the clinical trial and commenting on how they feel.
And there are many reports of doctors, nurses, and even janitors being bribed to try to get inside info.
So who knows.
