You're right on target with that assessment!
TPG will be the buyer, and yes - also believe the TPG/INTEL/McAfee connection is how R&G got involved. SFOR was already using BR then R&G jumped onboard right around the time INTEL/McAfee spin-off took place with TPG. R&G also did the spin-off. R&G has also worked with both TPG and INTEL prior to that.
And to really lay some thick icing on the cake -- Mr. Kay is setting up one helluva package for buyout, could be both SFOR and BST! All IP is wrapped under the McAfee hood! Which has been striving to become the #1 Cyber Security Company since spin-off, and goal!
