Can you provide more info on exactly what is involved in buying preferred shares? minimum investment amount, lock up period etc.?

I think most of the sells recently have been major long holders who are selling common to buy preferred. Don't blame any of them but the stock will be stuck in the mud until a signed contract is announced and new money drives the price up.
