I get a kick out of the Fudsters suggesting there is no deal pending because it is taking too long. They have no clue....I owned an engineering firm for 16 years and was contacted by a larger firm interested in an acquisition. Once I agreed to consider it and move forward with due diligence it took an entire year to get to the point where the deal was brought to a closing. I could not say anything to my employees about it and I had to abide by a CA. This was a very small transaction and only one suitor was involved. If I had 20 firms interested that I had to negotiate with and deal with each of their attorneys(with three different drugs, no less) and it was for the amount of value we think is present at IPIX, it would be that much more time consuming. That is not to say Leo and company have not been working on a deal for a long time already (which I believe they have), but these things don't happen overnight and it was a lot of work and a stressful process.
