Here is a site for DD, FinData.  You can horse arouind and get the listing for every NASDAQ, Amex, NY , and and Bulletin board stock.   I like to trade stocks between $2.00 and $10.00.  I go to NASDAQ and wrhite down every stock in that price range, but I don't list financial or commodity related stocks.  The Fed and commodity traders are too much to play with. My last scan I got just under 700 stocks.  Then I look at their charts looking for inflextion points and building volume leading up to the inflection point.  Then I look for fundies.  I like growth and at least near break even.  Then I get a watch list of maybe 20 stocks.  The problem the last year is that volume has become almost meaningless as far as pre breakout volume goes.  Anyway, I am NOT going to do it this weekend, got other plans.
