Definitely Zadie, insurance companies are inevitable. The loss they’re incurring from distracted driving has become unsustainable. Raising policy rates after the fact is impractical. Only a matter of time until they recognize ONCI/Hexagon has the perfect solution to their woes.
The link below is an in-depth 2018 distracted driving report. It clearly shows incidences of distracted driving are increasing regardless of new laws, fines, and increased insurance rates. Also states distracted driving has an economic impact of $129 billion per year. The report does a nice comparison to drunk driving.
