Gemalto has another gun to its' head, the DOD McAfee contracts. DOD wants standardization. Gemalto currently secures the DOD SIPRNET with MFA/OOBA infringed from SFOR. Not good for Gemalto. If they want to keep that DOD contract they would want to license ASAP before McAfee competes with them at contract renewal time.
