Make love, not war.
The global economies are so closely intertwined that any trade war between the world's biggest economies will has devastating consequence for the economies in all countries. China has realized that its trade surplus with U.S. cannot go on forever and has diversified its exports to other Asian countries and European countries through the modern "Silk Road". There is no power to curb the American demands for cheap Chinese good due to expensive domestic prices. Blame the workers' unions for pushing up wages during the economic boom times in the past decades that boosted production cost and made American goods so expensive. American companies should operate more efficiently to lower production cost and pass the savings to consumers so that Americans will buy domestic goods more.
U.S. and China should work as partners and not rivals and to spread the human species and human civilization among the stars and throughout the Milky Way Galaxy, else humanity will not survive in a catastrophic cosmic upheaval.
