What do you mean, 'seem'? And why do you ascribe to 'belief' a higher ranking than rational fact and evidence based reasoning?

I have yet to watch anyone but Fox News 'tell their sheepie what to think of the news', namely that much of it but their own is 'fake'.

I've also never seen so much talk of 'mind control' and conspiracy theories as I do on these boards.

Mind and thought control may rule your life, but I had some of the most rigorously analytical mfrs in the world as my teachers.

They taught me to think, yes rigorously, and to ask questions. That's what real education is.

News of old was, just as today, reporting the who, what, when, where and why as best could be discerned and confining opinion about all of it to an opinion page.

I understand the difference. Do you?
