General FYI; Learned something today about trading: I use TD, and when I initiate a trade (on the pc at least) there is an 'additional options' section that you can expand and choose the different tax lots you want to specifically sell from! How cool!

So if I was really hurting for cash, I could sell a little off the top (LIFO) and not my precious short-term shares. I didn't know this so I thought I would share.
