I never saw that Woodstock list until minutes ago. I was trying to look up the very first song, I knew it was Richie Havens, but not the first song. And the this popped up. Woodstock changed music forever and made big concerts the norm, still. 50 year diversionary next year. God am I getting old.

Freedom is a fun story. The next act, Country Joe and the Fish was late, so he wrote Freedom as he played, on the spot. I can guess he toyed with it sometime previous.
