I was digging a little more into that company that was acquired earlier this month AVXS as I loved the example of 3 years of negotiations with 3 companies and then Novartis swooped in to win them over.
Anyways - I am just so confused on how they became so successful.
From what I am reading they are 100% pre-revenue. They completed a single PHASE 1 trial - began in April 2014 and ended in Aug 2017. They dosed a total of 15 patients for Spinal Muscualr Atrophy. They have 1 major drug and a couple more in pre-clinical for like Rhetts and something else.
They have an accumulated deficit of 359 Million
They have cashed in approx 594 MILLION from financing and selling stock
37Million outstanding
31 million in options/warrants
And they sell for 200 plus a share.
I am just in awe at that price. Kevetrin, Brilacidin and Prurisol --- if they keep going and proving out - I mean how much can our share price be with approx 200 million shares fully diluted?
