Add #8--If you invest in rental real estate, renters have too many rights. They can trash your place, need months with no payment, etc. to get evicted. I saw one a while back where I used to own a house, the newest house on the block had a renter. She moved out and a squatter moved in. It took 4 months to get them out, by law. They said thay gave money to someone and got the key. No proof of payment needed, OMG. They trashed it too.
