Why does everyone assume that the company even needs a deal for Bril-OM?
Having it in powder form for the sachets will make it easy and cheap to sthip, and for pharmacies to store. There is literally NO other drug that works to prevent oral mucositis, so they won't have to try to convince doctors that their drug is better than the competition -- because there IS no competition.
i'd love to see the company say F-U to the prospective partners, and market Bril-OM itself.
Yes, Mr. Ehrlich has said in the past that he doesn't want to run a company that does manufacturing and distribution of drugs, but would prefer the royalty model. But, if IPIX sold Bril-OM itself, it would keep 100% of the profits, on a drug that really could be said to sell itself. What if they decide to keep Bril-OM for themselves, and license out the OTHER drugs?
