Anyone figure out what the “Smartphone company on a mission to make a better tomorrow” is supposed to mean?

Does it have something to do with the Owen wanting safer conditions for battery material mining, or what’s the deal? Sounds like the response from Ilya indicates he wants to help for something more then financial gain, like he sees the company as doing something good for the world. Maybe I’m reading into it to much but why advertise wanting a “better tomorrow” as a cell phone company? Just curious.
