Just briefly skimming through through that 14d9, it looks to me like it was a 9 month process from initial contact and discussion to completion. My gut tells me that is probably a reasonable time frame. I did not take the time to digest the content of what initial contact consisted of because I have a meeting to head to in a few minutes, but that is helpful to see an example of a buyout. BTW; I can also see some value to a company like Lilly to be the B-OM partner in order to support their chemo drug sales. That seems like a viable angle a BP may want to take.
