I actually think you're right with pricing. I can also vouch for the Fleetsafer pricing model, as I went through a quote with Cogosense for my truck fleet. I ended up getting quoted a discounted $60 per beacon and $5 per vehicle monthly for the admin side of the Fleetsafer app. I don't have a lot of drivers either. I have to think that the high retail price point is about margins and buy-out value.
