Many posters here have it all wrong when it comes to my posts. Some think I'm vindictive when in truth I am realistic. I am not married to this stock. Some posters send me private e-mails telling me how much they agree with me then the same day they bash me on the public forum. What kind of game is that? It's typical of a message board.
Here is the bottom line. I agree that distracted driving is a huge problem and requires an affordable solution. 90% of the country will accept the phone company's or Apple's rudimentary blocking service because it is free even though it is very easy to circumvent. Cogosense's pricing is way too high in my opinion. Sure you will always get a few who will pay $300-$500 for a unit (heck I even have one) but the sweet spot will be something far less, around $100. The genie is out of the bottle with cell phones being integrated into every part of our lives. Stuffing it back into the bottle is something that isn't going to happen easily because it means changing behavior and we should all know how hard that is.
How long has it taken for people to try and stop smoking? They know the risks and continue to do it. Same goes for your cell phone. It's an addictive device. People know they shouldn't be looking at their phone while driving but they can't or won't stop doing it unless the price of the solution is VERY affordable.
Just my opinion. Your opinion is probably different.
