Re: jamesfranklin #26551
The amount of the judgement is exactly what Greentree and BCM were suing for:
$1,168.932.00. However the original loan amounts payable to Greentree and BCM were only $275k:
$50k to Greentree on Nov. 24th, 2015
$225k to BCM ($75,000 on Aug 27th, 2015 and $150k on Oct.14, 2015)
Attorney's fees in the judgement were only 10k. That is how ridiculous these loans were- there is $883k in penalties and interest! LOL.
Amarantus never responded to any of the court filings or appeared in Court. I'm guessing because they didn't have any money to pay for an attorney and even if they had reached a settlement agreement, they wouldn't have been able to pay it anyway.
I suspect they will end up settling this for far less than the judgement, probably close to what the original loan amounts were and either pay it off in a lump sum or in a payment plan.
