According to Wednesday's court filing, as part of her settlement with O'Reilly, Mackris was 'forced to relinquish audio and video tapes recording O'Reilly's harassment and abuse.' The same condition applied to the other accusers.
Her agreement also revealed that Bo Dietl, a private investigator, former Fox News contributor and failed candidate for the mayor of New York City, 'surveilled, investigated and amassed information about Ms Mackris, including tapes, photographs, emails, letters, calendars and diaries.'
Dietl denied any wrongdoing but admitted that he was hired to do investigative work by the law firm that represented O'Reilly and Fox News.
