It appears that Lightwave’s materials will be able to Scale by Increasing Speed while Reducing size AND as important is that most likely will be able to meet the $1 Per Gig requirements that the industry is requesting. (That does not mean they will sell it for $1, Nope, Hey check it out the crystalline materials in today’s devices is about 8-10 Bucks per Gig and has issues with getting smaller and it appears that the only way those materials can increase speed will be by placing multiple low speed devices next to each other which does nothing to lower cost or reduce size.
