That is interesting Sox....my father had throat cancer in the early 1990s and went through chemo and radiation. I got married when he was dealing with the treatments and the pictures from our wedding show the severe burn he had on his neck from radiation. I remember my mother always having fresh ice chips near the bed and that he really could not eat (he had to have a feeding tube). Sadly, I really did not understand what he went through because he was so strong he would not complain even a little bit. I can remember some of the painful facial expressions when he simply could not hide it. This condition must be absolutely horrendous and I really hope IPIX can get a deal done soon so that the next phases can begin and treatment can become available for patients ASAP.
