McAfee is making DXL available as an open protocol for the industry- Just an FYI if peeps don't know it already. Also, From the point of view of connectivity, DXL allows to communicate events with clients, even when they are in complex network situations, and transmit information to or from them easily. DXL protocol also favors efficiency, ensuring that companies can move data through their networks once, and have "one to many" or "many to one" data transfer types.
