I already know how it’s going to play out. When a deal is announced, naked shorting theorists will claim naked shorts are forced to cover when in fact legal shorts are covering, traders are taking profits (even some longs) and new investors are taking positions.

Reminds me of a movie where bank robbers went inside the bank and came out disguising as hostages. There’s no way to know for sure in a chaotic situation. I’ll be glad to eat any omelet if 300M to 400M shares are traded in a few days.
