That is $1 Billion/Gigawatt.

Governments underestimate the change that is coming. Solar photovoltaics (PV) is a good example: total governmental projections yield less than 500 gigawatts (GW) of solar PV in 2030 whereas REmap 2030 demonstrated that a combination of current market trends coupled with enabling policies can result in 1 250 GW.
1250GW will need 12500 100MW/yr Solar Plants by 2030.

Squires has said top priority is focusing on displays as the low hanging fruit for fastest path to revenue, and Solterra is one of many possible projects that can be formally started after that. While on the back burner today, I am convinced that Solar will be the biggest and longest lasting, income producing tech for QMC.
