I suspect Gandalf is just being sarcastic. Otherwise his response would be a weirdly strong adverse visceral reaction to my question to Golfgod.
On the other hand, if Golfgod comes back and posts that he feels harassed by the question and confused into thinking I was speaking for shareholders then I'll have to admit fault even though my question seemed innocuous.
