Sounds like their solution to pick and transfer is to 'print' LEDs. Would that be on a chip substrate in place? That solves pick and transfer but could cause new problems, and more costly defect rejects.

Since I first found it, I have always thought that the best MicroLED solution is a Blue EL QD film on the backplane and R & G photoluminescent QD in front. No pick and transfer problem, and QMC has the Blue QD for the job now.
