Normally the FAA would require slide deployment on a partial evacuation. I have not heard of them waiving that requirement but anything is possible. If Xtra bought a brand new B787 from Boeing tomorrow the FAA would require a partial evacuation exercise among other things before before putting that Type aircraft in their Op Specs. Future aircraft of that Type would not require a partial evac for Xtra. If they buy a B767 the same applies on the first aircraft. The term mini evac was heard on message boards. FAA refs call it a partial evacuation. Main thing is to get flying. Cheers
