Do companies running clinical trials have ANY means available to them to make those sites that are extremely tardy in providing data upon completion of the trial, and as we are supposedly seeing now, have to get on the ball or face some sort of consequences? What happens if some site just decides (for nefarious reasons or just plain lack of responsible action) they will get to turning in results whenever they feel like it?

Seems like a great way someone or some entity could screw with a trial for a small amount of money.
