It is a possible violation of copyright laws to post something without the link to the original source, if that material was posted online. If there is a reason that you can't post a link to the original information, please paraphrase it rather than just pasting it here without attribution.
Copyright law has become very complicated. Much of what is online is covered under the "Creative Commons" license, which says it's okay to post it IF it is attributed to the author AND has a link to the original.
Let's not take any chances on the Hangout Admins having to waste their time with requests from copyright holders to delete stuff -- let's at least try to do it legally.
