If I were buying 500 thousand more shares, I would first open a new brokerage account which offered a set number of free trades. Buying shares at the ask historically has resulted in an immediate undercut lowering the price. Rinse/lather/repeat until it the ask is no longer undercut. At this point bid sitting a few clicks below ask and slowly acquire more.
