I don't like dealing with salespeople. I am in the medical field and prefer not to interact with vendors unless I have a question about their product. I don't want to be educated if I am not interested.
When you have an online ad, I feel like I am in control and if I am not interested, I can simply turn it off. No hard feelings. I feel less comfortable about telling sales reps that I am not interested because I feel like I am being rude. I feel bad if I tell a sales rep "no" and I think many people don't like being put in that spot.
I think that notifiCRM offers some semblance of an in-person type interaction while maintaining a degree of comfortable detachment and buyer control.
