The number of car accidents goes up dramatically in the first couple days of Daylight Savings Time, as people are losing an hour of sleep and it takes at least several days for people's internal clocks to adjust to the new time.

I wonder if anyone has ever studied stock market behavior in the first couple of days of DST? Are people slightly judgment-impaired because of the slight disorientation of the time shift?
