beaz: The brokerage firms are the ones that enable naked shorting. They do not live up to their fiduciary duty that requires them to insure good delivery.
These brokerage firms have been allowing this for years and have forced many companies into bankruptcy and have allowed trillions to be stolen from thousands of investors. The SEC knows what is going on and blinks and looks the other way with the exception of slap on the wrist fines when afforded no other option. T+0 will eliminate abusive naked shorting and it is coming thanks to Patrick Byrne. Our brokerage firms stand to lose big bucks if the stocks we are invested in start trading as they are supposed to based on demand and supply. I remain cautiously optimistic that NTEK is going to be able to turn the tables on the short sellers but only time will tell. The shorts have dug a big hole for themselves and I won't be a bit sorry to see them lose and NTEK win but only time will tell. Go NTEK!!!
