Is it at all possible that the company is flipping shares in order to reduce the cost of the overall buyback? Then, when the cost reaches nearly zero, that's when they retire the shares? Is that legal for them to do? Because that's what I would do. It would look great in the books if they were to retire shares without any or very little money coming out of revenue.
