It can be nerve racking. Especially if your cost basis is over the $. I've gotten use to it (manipulation). Not saying I don't use stop loss here and there IF I think I need to.
The company has given no indication of giving anything up and the science is kicking butt.

You want to see a company in limbo (now with no CEO; CFO stepped in) trying to partner to pay for trials? Take a look at SYN. I think Leo not only has better science than SYN (BY A LONGSHOT!!!!) though we'll just have to see how long it takes for Leo to get that first deal. So there is a bit of fear out there.
