It is untrue to claim that there has to be massive dilution of the stock, or that there is any possibility whatsoever of a reverse split.
We have acquired a basher who is making false claims.
Those who are familiar with the stock understand that the business plan of the management is to achieve a partnership. There are about 20 confidential disclosure agreements with potential partners. The business model of large pharmaceutical companies has shifted in the past year or so to letting small companies take the risks of developing drugs, and then to partner with them. This is more cost-effective for large pharmas than funding all the research themselves.
It's absurd to think that no one would want to partner for these drugs which have had successful clinical trials:
• Brilacidin-UP which had quality-of-life improvement for 100% of the patients in theulcerative proctitis clinical trial and photographically documented remission or improvement for many
• Brilacidin-OM which is the only drug that has been shown to prevent oral mucositis for some patients, and delay onset and reduce severity for others
Further clinical trials for these drugs would be fast and (relatively speaking) inexpensive.
As far as Kevetrin, we have proof now that it does alter the tumor.
We don't know the results of the recent Prurisol trial but we know that the first trial had good results.
So the thought that the company has to raise "75 million dollars" is absurd.
The company has a financing deal with Aspire that certainly should enable them to complete the clinical trial for at least Bril-OM and/or Bril-UP. The chance of a partnership which would fund all of the clinical trials seems good to anyone who understands the clinical trial results thus far.
In the future, when the kinds of lies that the current trolls post are put up here again, they will be deleted. Fair warning to liars.
